1. Who We Are

MrAg is operated by MrRichard LLC, an Iowa limited liability company. When we say "MrAg," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean MrRichard LLC. You can contact us at support@mrag.app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when using MrAg:

• Account information: name, email address, farm name, and county location
• Farm data: field names, acreage, crops planted, growth stages, and cost of production you enter
• Scout photos and diagnoses: photos you take in the app and the AI-generated diagnoses associated with them
• Grain and financial records: grain inventory, sales, and input costs you log
• Activity logs: field activities and inputs you record by voice or text
• Decision window preferences: acted-on feedback and farmer notes you provide on decision window recommendations
• Usage data: how you interact with the app, features used, and session information
• Device information: device type, operating system version, and app version for support purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the MrAg service:

• To deliver AI-powered farm advisory features including crop scouting, decision window timing, Ask MrAg chat, and grain marketing guidance
• To personalize your experience based on your farm's specific data, location, and weather conditions
• To send local push notifications about decision windows, closing windows, and operational reminders you have enabled
• To process subscription payments through Apple
• To improve MrAg's features and fix bugs using anonymized usage analytics
• To respond to support requests

4. AI Processing

MrAg uses Anthropic's Claude API to power AI features including crop diagnosis, marketing advice, and farm advisory chat. When you use these features, relevant portions of your farm context are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train their AI models under our agreement. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.

All AI API calls are routed through our secure backend. Your Anthropic API key and credentials are never stored on your device.

5. Information We Never Share

• We never sell your personal or farm data to any third party
• We never share your data with agricultural co-ops, input suppliers, grain elevators, or commodity traders
• We never share your data with advertisers or marketing companies
• We never use your farm data to train external AI models
• We never share your individual farm data for benchmarking without your explicit opt-in consent

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate MrAg. Each processes data only as necessary to provide their service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (supabase.com/privacy)
• Anthropic — AI processing via Claude API (anthropic.com/privacy)
• Apple — App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription billing (apple.com/privacy)
• National Weather Service (NWS/NOAA) — weather forecast and historical temperature data (weather.gov)
• USDA AMS — grain market prices via the MARS API; no personal data is shared, only crop type (usda.gov/privacy-policy)
• Open-Meteo — soil temperature, soil moisture, evapotranspiration, wind gusts, sunrise/sunset, and sunshine duration forecasts; only field GPS coordinates are sent, no personal data is shared (open-meteo.com/en/terms)
• Resend — transactional email delivery for account verification and password resets; only your email address is shared (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy)
• PostHog — anonymized product analytics (posthog.com/privacy)
• Sentry — crash reporting and error monitoring (sentry.io/privacy)

7. Data Security

We take the security of your farm data seriously:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS — unencrypted connections are never permitted
• Scout photos are stored in private, encrypted storage — accessible only via time-limited signed URLs
• Your account is protected by Supabase authentication with optional Face ID / Touch ID
• Row-level security ensures your data is never accessible to other MrAg users
• API keys and credentials are stored server-side only — never in the app binary

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Export: download your complete farm records as CSV at any time from Settings
• Correction: update or correct any inaccurate information in your account
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@mrag.app
• Notification opt-out: manage all push notification preferences in Settings at any time

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and farm data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained for product improvement purposes.

10. Children's Privacy

MrAg is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact support@mrag.app and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of MrAg after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
